How do you properly welcome summer vacation? In Sydney's world, thanks to Pinterest, you plan a sneak attack with water balloons!
She had been planning this for weeks. Jacob was going to meet London at the bus stop.
Max was to be the bait, to lure her near the garage. To our surprise, her bus driver dropped her right in front of our house today. (On a side note, she has had the BEST bust driver this year!) We had to move quickly and create an impromptu diversion aka hugs from Mommy.
London is my water baby. So getting wet was right up her alley!
Jacob had to get in on the action also! They had one soaked little sister.
I just have to say that this has been a tremendous school year. Although we haven't received Sydney's report card yet or seen Jacob's, we know all three of our children have worked very hard!
By the middle of July 2011, we had made the very difficult decision to have Sydney begin her high school education online. It was unknown territory for us. We had no idea what to expect. I can say, without hesitation, that it has been the best possible decision that we could have made for her! She has been successful in her grades and has been very self-disciplined.
Jacob will be heading to middle school in the fall. That's a whole different ball game but we know he has what it takes to be successful!
London loves school and seems to have loved it even more this year! Her teacher exceeded every expectation that I could have possibly had. London excelled beyond our imagination. And just a little brag moment, she was within two points of the top scores for their standardized testing this year. We better watch out...she's going to outsmart us!
We are so proud of you!!! We love you all to pieces!!!
